Plague Road Limited Edition

from $1,000.00

I had the idea to do a photoshoot with a gas mask, biohazard suit, and bodies for a while. The idea of a post-apocalyptic world always fascinated me, but little did I know what 2020 would bring. In the fall of 2019 I finally bought the supplies for the shoot and then six months later the world shut down. By the fall of 2020 I had been offered some money to deliver a car from the east coast to the west coast. I was told I could go on some side adventures so I grabbed my gas mask, biohazard suit, camera and tripod and hit the road. All the people you see in this photo are me. I put the camera on a timer and would run to different spots and lay down and act dead. I would do this over and over again so that I had a lot of options. When I got home, I took the images from each shoot and merged them into one photo.

While driving in Nevada there were roads that would stretch on for miles and miles with no signs of civilization as far as the eye could see. At this point in my road trip I was traveling with my friend Amanda and on this day I was not wearing contacts. Amanda was very helpful in keeping me alive by letting me know when a car was barreling down the road in my direction. I had to move myself and the camera to safety several times before I was able to get some photos of me laying on the ground.
